Certainty
Certainty
During my darkest times, I painted to find solace and comfort from the reality I was facing day in and day out. To give me and the viewer courage, I wanted to paint an abstract scene of cherry blossom trees converging together to form a protected path, evoking the energy of 'certainty' and assurance that this too shall pass. If we are brave enough to embark on the road less travelled than in time we will be able to see life through.
My earlier work, “Certainty” was created back 2014, a year into my art healing journey after the passing of my beloved in 2011. I was beginning to see glimpses of light at the end of the tunnel. In this painting the colors are vivid, but the path is still uncertain.
