Reflecting on Mother's Day, spending the time with my kids, I think back on how things were, when they were a few feet tall, just discovering the zest that life had to offer. Fast forward to now, I see each and everyone of them moving through life with their own challenges, milestones and achievements. It's an inspiration to bear witness and better yet to be there when it counts. Just like this cherry blossom tree I painted, overlooking, the younger ones in bloom, I will always be looking out for my kids.
I call this art piece 'Sunshine' to symbolize a Mother's love--reliable, warm, and ever-present.
